Once an order has been handed off to the carrier and marked as Delivered, ThrottleHaus Coffee & Teas™ is not responsible for delays, losses, misdeliveries, theft, or errors caused by third-party carriers. Carrier actions are outside our direct control.

1.3 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ThrottleHaus Coffee & Teas™ shall not be liable for:

Carrier delivery errors

Theft occurring after delivery confirmation

Packages marked as delivered but not located

Delays caused by carriers, weather conditions, labor disruptions, or force majeure events

Our liability, if any, is limited to the purchase price of the product and is subject to the policies outlined below.


2. Shipping & Delivery Policy

2.1 Order Processing

Orders are processed after payment confirmation and shipped through our fulfillment partners. Processing and transit times may vary. Tracking information is provided when available.

2.2 Delivery Confirmation

An order is considered fulfilled once the carrier marks it as Delivered to the address provided at checkout.

Delivery may include, but is not limited to:

Front door delivery

Mailboxes

Parcel lockers

Building mailrooms or concierge desks

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the shipping address provided is accurate and secure.


3. Delivered but Not Received Orders

If an order is marked Delivered but cannot be located:

Customers must contact us within 7 days of the delivery date.

We will assist with initiating a carrier investigation.

Final resolution will be determined after the investigation concludes.

Please note:

Replacements or refunds are not automatic or guaranteed for orders marked Delivered.

Carrier delivery confirmation is considered proof of delivery.

Many packages are recovered during the investigation process.


4. Investigation Window

Carrier investigations typically take 3–7 business days, though timelines may vary.

During this period:

No refunds or replacements are issued.

Customers may be asked to verify address details or check with neighbors, mailrooms, or local postal offices.


5. Refund Policy (Separate & Explicit)

5.1 Non-Refundable Items

The following items are non-refundable:

Orders marked as Delivered

Replaced orders

Promotional or discounted items

Bulk or high-value orders

Gift cards

5.2 Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered only if:

An order is confirmed lost by the carrier

A shipment never reaches delivery status

A fulfillment error occurs on our end

All refund decisions are made at our discretion.

5.3 Replacements

One replacement maximum per order

No refunds issued after a replacement has been sent

Replacement eligibility depends on investigation results


6. High-Value & Bulk Orders

To protect both customers and our business:

High-value or bulk orders may require additional verification

Replacement eligibility may be limited

Discounts and promotions may not apply to large shipments

These safeguards help ensure fair pricing and long-term service availability.


7. Package Protection (Optional)

We may offer optional Package Protection at checkout or include protection within our pricing structure.

Protected orders receive priority resolution

Unprotected orders remain subject to standard investigation and replacement policies

Package Protection does not override carrier delivery confirmation.


8. Shipping Insurance & Carrier Claims

Some shipments include carrier insurance provided by the shipper or fulfillment partner.

Carrier insurance:

Is controlled by the shipper of record

Is subject to carrier investigation and approval

Does not guarantee reimbursement or replacement

Insurance payouts, if issued, are applied according to fulfillment partner policies and may not be payable directly to customers.


9. Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

We are not responsible for:

Incorrect or incomplete addresses

Missing apartment, suite, or unit numbers

Packages delivered to forwarding addresses

Orders shipped to incorrect addresses are not eligible for refunds or replacements.


10. Chargebacks & Disputes

We actively contest chargebacks that contradict:

Carrier delivery confirmation

Tracking records

These policies

Customers are encouraged to contact us directly before initiating a dispute. Abuse of chargebacks may result in order cancellations or account restrictions.


11. Fraud Prevention

To maintain fair service and pricing:

We may deny service for repeated loss claims

We may limit replacements

Additional verification may be required
