A rich, spiced chai latte swirled with black cherry syrup and just enough warmth to make your soul feel like it’s by a haunted fireplace. It’s elegant, aromatic, and a little wicked — the tea version of your favorite goth holiday dessert.
1 cup brewed ThrottleHaus™ Masala Chai or Hibiscus Berry Tea
½ cup whole milk or oat milk (steamed or heated)
1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon black cherry syrup (grenadine works in a pinch)
Whipped cream (optional but glorious)
Drizzle of cherry syrup for the signature “bloody sleigh” effect
Cinnamon stick or star anise for garnish
Shaved dark chocolate or crushed dried cherries for drama
1 ounce spiced rum – for warmth
½ ounce cherry brandy – for luxury
1–2 drops THC tincture – if your carols need a chill filter
Steep your ThrottleHaus™ Chai or Hibiscus Berry Tea in hot water (about 200°F) for 5–7 minutes.
The longer the steep, the bolder the brew — you want deep spice or tart berry flavor depending on your choice.
In your ThrottleHaus™ mug, stir together honey (or brown sugar), vanilla extract, and black cherry syrup until smooth.
Pour in the hot tea and stir gently — it should look ruby-dark and smell like Christmas in a vampire novel.
Steam or heat your milk until frothy. Slowly pour it over the tea mix for that creamy, layered look.
Stir in spiced rum and/or cherry brandy for a grown-up version.
Add THC tincture only if you plan to stay put — this is the “not driving home” edition.
Top with whipped cream.
Drizzle cherry syrup in messy, artistic streaks so it looks like spilled magic.
Garnish with a cinnamon stick or star anise, and finish with a touch of dark chocolate shavings or dried cherry bits.
Warm chai spice meets tart cherry sweetness with creamy vanilla undertones. It’s cozy, seductive, and a little unsettling — exactly how the holidays should taste.
