Ingredients (Single-Serve)

1 hibiscus berry tea bag (or 1 Tbsp loose hibiscus blend)

12 oz water

2–3 orange slices

1 small cinnamon stick

2–3 oz pomegranate juice

1–2 tsp honey or agave (to taste)

Ice (for iced version)

Equipment: Saucepan or kettle, heatproof jar, strainer, glass

Hot Version: Steps

Simmer. Bring water just to boiling. Add tea, cinnamon stick, and 2 orange slices.

Steep. Let sit 6–7 minutes for deep crimson color.

Finish. Remove tea and spices. Stir in pomegranate juice and sweetener.

Serve. Garnish with a fresh orange slice.

Iced Version: Steps

Concentrate. Steep tea + cinnamon + 2 orange slices in 8 oz just-boiling water for 8 minutes.

Build. In a shaker or large glass, add 6–8 oz ice, pomegranate juice, and sweetener.

Combine. Strain concentrate over ice. Stir hard for 10 seconds.

Garnish. Add an orange wheel. (Optional: salt-sugar rim for “vampire” effect.)

8 tea bags

7 cups hot water

2 cinnamon sticks

1 orange, sliced

2 cups pomegranate juice

¼–½ cup honey or agave

Method: Steep tea, cinnamon, and orange for 10 minutes. Strain. Stir in juice and sweetener. Chill. Serve over ice.
