Flavor: Cozy chai with real pumpkin and maple

Ingredients (Single-Serve)

1 black-tea or rooibos chai bag (or 1 Tbsp loose chai)

10 oz water

2 oz milk or oat milk

1 tsp pumpkin purée (smooth; not pie filling)

1–2 tsp maple syrup or brown sugar

1–2 pinches pumpkin pie spice (or 1:1:1:½ cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, nutmeg)

Equipment: Small saucepan or kettle, mug, whisk (or frother), fine strainer (optional)

Steps

Brew. Heat water to a rolling boil. Steep chai 5 minutes.

Pumpkin mix. In the mug, whisk pumpkin purée, sweetener, and spice until smooth.

Combine. Pour hot tea into the mug and whisk until fully dissolved.

Milk. Warm milk until steaming (not boiling) and froth.

Finish. Top the tea with frothed milk. Dust with spice.

Optional strain. For ultra-smooth texture, strain through a fine sieve before topping with milk.

Batch (≈ 6 mugs)

6 chai bags

7½ cups water

1¼ cups milk

6 Tbsp pumpkin purée

6–8 Tbsp maple syrup

2 tsp pumpkin spice

Method: Brew 7½ cups chai (5 min). Whisk in pumpkin, syrup, spice. Keep warm at low simmer. Steam/froth milk separately and top each mug.

Iced Version

Brew tea double-strength, cool completely.

Shake with pumpkin mix and ice.

Top with cold-foam milk.

Pumpkin Bourbon Chai – 1½ oz bourbon + dash of vanilla extract

Maple Rum Chai – 1½ oz dark rum + drizzle of maple syrup

THC Infusions (where legal)

Tincture Drop – 5–10 mg THC tincture stirred into the hot chai

Infused Maple Syrup – Swap standard syrup for THC-infused maple

Pumpkin Patch Elixir – Brew chai with THC-infused milk or creamer

Notes

For café-smooth texture, blend the hot tea + pumpkin mix with an immersion blender 10–15 sec.

Swap maple for vanilla syrup if you want a sweeter profile.
